Ceramic Mugs, dishes and coasters

Sublimated mugs are known for their vibrant, long-lasting designs, but only if treated with care. Here’s how to keep them looking fresh and fabulous:

Cleaning Tips

  • Hand wash only: Avoid dishwashers, even if the mug claims to be dishwasher-safe. High heat and strong detergents can fade the design over time.

  • Use mild soap: Harsh chemicals like bleach or alcohol can erode the sublimation coating.

  • Soft sponge only: Skip abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the surface and dull the print.

  • Lukewarm water: Hot water may weaken the sublimation layer over time.

Protection & Handling

  • Avoid microwaves: Unless labeled microwave-safe, heat can damage the coating.

  • Limit UV exposure: Direct sunlight can cause colors to fade—store mugs in shaded areas.

  • Handle gently: Chips or cracks can compromise the design and coating.

Storage & Transport

  • Don’t stack: Stacking mugs can scratch the surface. Store them side by side.

  • Use padding: When transporting, wrap mugs in soft cloth to prevent damage.
